University of Denver College of Law, J.D.
The Colorado College, B.A.

My commercial and civil litigation practice encompasses a broad range, including defending both insurance companies and insureds in bad faith, personal and bodily injury claims, and construction defect. I also practice in the area of employment law, providing both pre-litigation and litigation services.

Additionally, I have significant appellate experience at all levels and have drafted briefs for the United States Supreme Court, the Colorado Supreme Court and Colorado Court of Appeals. In 2014, I was selected as the “Publications Vice-Chair” of the Defense Research Institute (DRI) Diversity Committee. The goal of the committee is to advance and promote one of DRI’s core values: diversity in the legal profession, a cause close to my heart.

Where I Studied

I graduated from Colorado College with a Bachelor of Arts in History, Cum Laude and with Distinction. I earned my J.D. from the University of Denver where I was the Candidacy Editor for the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy. I also participated in the Civil Litigation Clinic and moot court, placing first in the Client Counseling competition. I was recently honored by being named a Colorado Rising Star by Super Lawyers.

Global Experience

Where I’ve Been

My work and life experiences span four continents and I have lived significant portions of my life in the U.K., Libya, and Bangladesh. When I’m not in the process of obtaining defense verdicts, I enjoy travelling (beach destinations are my favorite), sampling Denver’s busy brunch scene, and nursing my keen karaoke addiction (some might say talent) whenever possible.
